Some considerations on natural disasters
I spent all day on a blog about Pat Roberston's comments and some Biblical concepts that I think need to be considered when we look at natural disasters. You can find it here. As always I welcome your comments.

I believe God through the Spirit is working through Pat to stir the pot based on the lively dialogue on the blogs and online boards.
ReplyDeleteYes, some of the PR appears to be negative, but who am I to question God's plan. Nevertheless, I am still responsible to be discerning, and not presume nor automatically pass judgment that bad things happen to people because they deserve it per say. God's wrath is not subject to our approval nor understanding unless God chooses to reveal it to us.
Personally, this has been a reminder or wake up call to me that I am accountable for my actions. More importantly, as Christians, we are light in an otherwise dark world.
