The Lord's Prayer, Wish or Command

I've always read parts of what is commonly called “The Lord’s Prayer” as hopes or wishes: may your name be honored, may your will be done, may your kingdom come. However, a closer examination led to a surprise and personal challenge I'd like to share with you.
